Breaking News: Appeal Court Judge Kidnapped by Gunmen in Edo State

Kidnappers have abducted Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme. The judge is from the Federal Court of Appeal, Benin Division. However, the police have vowed to rescue the judge alive.

Reports reaching us is that Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme of the Federal Court of Appeal, Benin Division has been abducted by men who are suspected to be kidnappers. According to Premium Times, the incident which occurred along Benin-Agbor highway also claimed the life of a police officer.

Another report noted that the criminals trailed the judge from Ramat Park end of the Benin-Agbor road and intercepted the vehicle with gunfire around Christ Chosen Church of God International.

According to the police, the vehicle driver was also injured by the criminals. Meanwhile, the police in Edo state have however vowed to rescue the judge alive.
